Side Effects

Does anyone else have an issue with Kratom slowing your bladder down and makes it hard to urinate? Also, it will make my left leg swell.. Does anyone else have different side effects, but still continue to take it?

Not sure about leg swelling, but it's not uncommon to find it harder to pee or you're retaining urine. Sometimes it helps to drink more water and a little bit of caffeine to help you go. Caffeine is a diuretic. Chamomile tea might also help you go, by reducing the effect of mitragynine on the bladder.

In terms of other side effects, I find I have slower wound healing after consistent use especially at higher doses (more than 6-8g/day). Dehydration is not uncommon, kratom can be very dehydrating.  Helps to drink Pedialyte sometimes. Sometimes there can be a little brain fog, but sometimes its a bit more wakeful and stimulating. Kind of depends. It seems good to cycle off every once in a while.

If you cant pee and you are in taking alot of kratom the solution may be to drink salt. Consuming salt allows water to be drained from the bladder. Iodine salt may help even more in addition to consuming alot of water and pomegranate cranberry type juices. I experience. Bit of bloating and grogginess when waking up.  Only side effects really.

It is interesting to see the different things that happen to different people I take a water pill so I don't have the problem with urinating and I definitely drink alot of soda.

A little bit but not enough to actually cause an issue(it can be when I'm really feeling it a little difficult to go at worst), no swelling anywhere else though. I don't get any other side effects other than that.

I haven't experienced anything too extreme however some negative side effects have been irritability, more anxious with certain strains or stomach cramps. Nothing too extreme though

If I take too much, I get a brain fog and a touch of nausea.

Recently found that taurine was helpful and effective for dealing with the kratom dehydration side effect. Even drinking lots of water it seems hard to get hydrated on kratom, but with taurine it seems much easier! It helps electrolytes enter your cells and affects water balance. Taurine is helpful for anxiety and other side effects too.

Yes hydration is key, magnesium is a must as kray depletes it, you do and should replace electrolites in your body weekly. Salt sugar lemon mix or just look up how to rehydrate and electrolites in your body naturally.

I found some potassium salt at the grocery store. Add some regular sodium chloride salt and some magnesium sulfate/epsom salt and you'll be right as rain.
